She is an author, associate researcher in the Psychiatry Department at Massachusetts General Hospital, and an assistant professor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School. With her background, Sara leads us deep into the discussion about how mindfulness and yoga changes the structure of the brain - how they help decrease pain catastrophizing and pain interference. She shares some great techniques on meditation that can benefit and alleviate chronic pain and even help slow the aging process.
